Location Summary
The Point Conception State Marine Reserve is located at a major biogeographic boundary. The protected area was established to protect important marine habitats including an upwelling zone, oil seeps, pinnacles, rocky reefs, kelp forest, deep rock, and harbor seal haulouts.
